About iQ-DIVE

iQ-DIVE is a
SSI Diamond Instructor Training Center located in Khao Lak, Thailand, just some 60 minutes north from the Phuket International Airport. We offer scuba diving and snorkeling day trips, overnight and liveaboard cruises to the famous Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, local wreck diving, trips to Myanmar (Burma) and of course the complete SSI educational program from beginner to pro.
Note
PADI courses are available with us in cooperation with our PADI Instructors but we charge additional
2.000 Baht for the certification.
Development
The iQ-DIVE center is managed by
Ernst (Switzerland) and his wife
Meaw (Thailand).
We have successfully been operating in Khao Lak on Thailand's west coast since 1996.
In the early years, Khao Lak was just an insider tip amongst backpackers. Eventually, Khao Lak gained international recognition among scuba divers due to its geographically perfect location, right opposite to the Similan Islands, one of the world's top ten diving and snorkeling destinations.
What started as a relatively small operation fast became a large, highly professional and efficient dive center that is now one of the biggest in the area. The iQ-DIVE team's goal is to provide a maximum of safety, professionalism, and fun for its guests.
Khao Lak is the ideal place to relax for families with children. The Khao Lak Lamru National Park area features pristine beaches, dense tropical rainforest, waterfalls and endless opportunities for outdoor activities like elephant trekking, canoeing at the Mangroves, hiking to the nearby waterfalls and more.
